The Process of Setting up an Epson Printer
In order to connect Epson printer to WiFi, you should first learn how to setup the printer. Here are the quick and simple steps to follow:
1. Initially, unbox the printer and check for the items and accessories.
2. After that, place your Epson printer on a plain surface.
3. Next, connect the printer to electricity using a power adapter.
4. Then, turn the machine on by pressing the power button.
5. Now, click the OK button, which is on the right side of the printer screen, along with other buttons used to manage the printer.
6. Also, go to the Settings tab and choose your preferred language from the available options.
7. Install the ink in your printer. To do this, lift the scanned bed and open the ink lid compartment.
8. Here, match the color codes on the inks with the codes written on the bottles.
9. Afterward, unclip the nozzle cap and pour ink from the bottles into the corresponding slots.
10. Once the ink-filling process is complete, clip the nozzle cap back on.
11. Lastly, put paper into the paper tray, and the printer setup process is done.
How to Connect Epson Printer to WiFi?
Once you have set up the printer, you can connect it to your computer or phone. There are a couple of ways to do this. In the blog, I will be talking about connecting them via WiFi. Follow these steps:
1. Before connecting the printer to WiFi, make sure that your device is connected to WiFi. This is necessary in order to connect the printer to WiFi.
2. Then, press OK on the printer and go to Settings on the Home screen.
3. After that, select General Settings and press OK again.
4. Now, open network settings and go to WiFi Setup.
5. Next, you will have multiple options; choose the WiFi recommended.
6. On the following screen, go to the WiFi Setup Wizard.
7. You can see the printer will search for the WiFi router. Once it detects it, click on it.
8. Lastly, enter the password for the WiFi network, and your printer will be connected to WiFi.
Important Note: Apart from WiFi, you can also connect the printer to your device with a USB cable or Bluetooth. To connect using USB, plug in the cable at both ends. For Bluetooth, go to Bluetooth settings and search for the printer. When you find it, click on it, and it will connect.
